Typeland, meaning the playland for typography, is a conceptual project that explores the question: if typography were free from modern font-making rules, what would it become, and what form would it take? Typeland also delves into the possibilities of font creation, developing typefaces in a playful and relaxed manner within the time frame from February 2024 to May 2024.

This project involves experimenting with various methods, including balancing Seal script—an ancient Chinese writing style—and Roman fonts, generating fonts using p5.js, using fingers as the medium, and drawing inspiration from everyday life.

If they break free from typography rules, they can exist in different forms, like bouncing on the screen or being decorated in the physical world.
