Crisp

Timeline: 2025-2026

Role: Senior Visual Designer

Crisp is the leading law firm growth company in the United States, partnering with attorneys nationwide through coaching, video production, marketing, and recruiting. As the company scaled and expanded its offering, it grew into a multi-service brand with a wide range of touchpoints across digital, print, video, and live events.

CHALLENGE: Crisp reached market leadership without ever building an in-house design function or engaging a dedicated design partner. Brand work was handled as needed, alongside other priorities, so the identity never had a foundation to grow on. The business strategy evolved faster than the visual identity, leaving a gap between what the company had become and how it presented itself.

DESIGN: While preserving the equity already built into the brand, I evolved the identity into a unified system defined by a clear tone: confident, purpose, and authentic. Type and layout carry the structure; color and motion carry the energy; photography keeps it grounded in real moments. The system spans logo and sub-brand architecture, and the guidelines were written to be usable by anyone on the team, so consistency holds without a designer in every room.

STRATEGY: Crisp's coaching offering serves two audiences. Firm owners move through four tiered programs — Elite, Premier, Select, and Crisp X — each calibrated to a stage of growth, while Experience trains the employees who carry that growth out. Each program had developed its own visual treatment over time, blurring the relationship between tiers and making the offering harder to navigate.

DESIGN: I unified the programs under a single color system, replacing the inconsistent treatments with a coordinated palette that distinguishes each tier while keeping them legibly one family. Alongside it, I defined layout standards for hierarchy, spacing, and program identifiers, so recognition holds whether a prospect encounters a tier on the website, in a deck, or in print.
